Roll up! Roll up! The Mechanical Circus is coming to town!
Journey back through time with Puke Ariki Museum and reminisce about the good old days of pre-electric entertainment with The Mechanical Circus exhibition.
From November until April, the temporary gallery space will be transformed into a vibrant fair-ground and carnival atmosphere.
With circus tents and lots of interactive pieces, we invite you to see an array of marvellous mechanisms spring to life, test your strongman skills, and fight your way out of the lion's jaw!
The exhibition includes a wonderful and humorous combination of scientific tricks, facts, exhibits, spectacular experiments and marvellous mechanical pieces.
